I’ve passed by Cafe159 a few times now, and today I finally decided to bit the bullet and check out this place. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the vibrant and colorful atmosphere. It strikes that elusive balance between “modern minimalist” and “neighborhood cozy.”
The owner greeted me with a genuine smile the moment I stepped through the door, which immediately set a positive tone for the visit. It’s the kind of place where you don’t feel like just another place to get a cup of coffee, but rather a guest in someone’s home. Whether you’re looking to escape the afternoon heat or find a quiet corner to think, the vibe here is chill and laid-back.
The Taste Test: Vietnamese Style
I kept it classic today and ordered their signature Vietnamese Iced Coffee. If you’ve spent any time in Southeast Asia, you know that the quality of the condensed milk and the strength of the dark roast can make or break your morning.
The coffee at Cafe159 didn’t disappoint. It arrived with that beautiful, thick gradient of white and dark brown. Once stirred, it was incredibly bold with distinct chocolatey undertones—none of that overly burnt bitterness you find at larger chains. At a price point that is very friendly for the local area, it felt like a high-end experience without the “boutique” price tag.

For those of us who carry our “office” in a backpack, Cafe159 is a strong contender for a work session.
- Wi-Fi: I checked the speed while I was there, and it was more than enough for uploading high-res photos or even a YouTube Short without the “loading” anxiety. The owner was also gracious enough to let me use the shop’s WiFi.
- Seating & Power: There are several tables positioned near power outlets, and the chairs are comfortable enough for a 90-minute deep-work stint.
- Noise Level: There wasn’t any background music so it wasn’t distracting. Also there were just a few other customers so It’s quiet enough for a focused study session but lively enough that you don’t feel like you have to whisper.

The Verdict: This is a “must-visit” if you value high-quality coffee and a warm, welcoming environment. It’s perfect for an early morning caffeine hit or a mid-afternoon workspace pivot. I’ll definitely be adding this to my weekly rotation.
